My piece "The Man I Love" received 2nd place in the Clymer Library Show. I was very excited to receive this honor so I desided to post the painting here for all to view.
I am all finished with classes and am taking the summer off. Although I plan on continuing my portrait painting. I really love to capture the essence of someone with my brushes.

March 13th 2009, Friday
OOOH Friday the 13th!
I am getting ready to start Spring break, hurah! I would like to work on something that is not required for class, but I really must clean my house. Talking about houses I will be needing a new one as my landlord is selling the farm we live on. I really don't know where we will go after living here 13 years. the prices have risen so high since we have been here. We will probably have to move out of Pennsylvania, maybe North Carolina?
I have three pieces at Connexions Gallery, in Easton, for the ACE Womens show. Stop by and take a look when your in the area. There are some wonderful pieces there from the women of ACE.
Thanks,
B Jackson Briggs
