At the age of ten I took painting
lessons from an artist who lived down the street from us for three
dollars an hour, which is where I painted my first piece. I did not
paint again until I was 22, when I met an artist who invited me to
paint in his studio. I painted one painting I have since then called
‘Barn’ in his studio. I did not paint again for 18 years. |

My family and I now live in
Pennsylvania in an old farm house, and I do mean old. After many
years, and much encouragement by my husband and family, I decided to
paint again. I attended and graduated from Northampton Community
College with an Associate Degree in Fine Arts, I then went on to
graduate from Kutztown University earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts
Degree, with painting specialty. I have also studied Biology at East
Stroudsburg University, Business at Northampton Community College,
and one semester of fine art at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. |

I have participated in as many shows as
I possibly could over the last several years since I started
painting. Several group shows, such as the ACE at the Flower show in
Bethlehem, BPC show in the Allentown Museum, in the Quadrant in
Easton, the Rotunda of the Bethlehem Government building, 2006
PaintAmerica Top100 which was showing in South Wind Gallery, Topeka,
KS the show has now moved the show to St. George Gallery, St.
George, UT. I have also shown at the galleries at Northampton
Community College and Kutztown University. |

August of 2007 I
graduated from Kutztown University. Where I earned a BFA with
an emphasis on painting.
I have since been accepted to Academy
of Art University Graduate School, I will be starting in January
2008. |
